Enjoy Shakespeare amid
the remnants of a granite Greek Revival building that housed a 19th-century
finishing school for young women on a hilltop in Ellicott City. Chesapeake
Shakespeare Company in-the-Ruins presents The Comedy of Errors and The
Tempest, weekends June 6 through
July 13.

Allegany County’s 40th
annual Heritage Days Festival, June 14-15, marks
the start of summer in Mountain Maryland. Arts & crafts, entertainment,
sidewalk vendors. Held in Cumberland’s historic district, festival
coincides with Allegany County Museum’s Open House – local history,
architecture, folk art, transportation exhibits.

Chicken Rules
Dress up like a
chicken or come as you are to the 59th annual Delmarva
Chicken Festival in
Salisbury, June 20-21. Ten-foot frying pan, live entertainment, carnival rides,
arts & crafts, car show and lots of chicken to eat.
