Online survey widens public forum on Maryland’s arts scene

The Maryland State Arts Council’s cultural-planning initiative – Imagine Maryland – now features an online survey in which visitors to the MSAC web site can register their opinions and suggestions regarding the state’s arts community. This 30-question survey will be available to take through September 5.

Gov. Martin O’Malley launched Imagine Maryland this past spring to identify opportunities for strengthening the arts industry. Coordinated by the Arts Council, Imagine Maryland is intended to stimulate economic development, boost Maryland’s quality of life, attract visitors, and support artists and arts organizations.

Results of the survey will be posted online in mid-October.
