Formerly
the deputy executive director of the Kentucky Sports Authority,
Hasseltine has held leadership roles with the Greater Louisville
Sports Commission and National Association of Intercollegiate
Athletics. He is currently on the board of the National Association
of Sports Commissions.
“I
am honored to join such a tremendous team in Maryland,” Hasseltine
said. “I look forward to getting to know all the stakeholders,
facilities and the state partners to create a sports market
that is second to none.”
The
Office of Sports Marketing is a program of DBED’s Division
of Tourism, Film and the Arts (TFA). “The partnership
between this division and the Maryland Stadium Authority
will enrich the experience for those who live, work and visit
Maryland,” said TFA Assistant Secretary Hannah Byron.
