Frederick attraction plans War of 1812 program

The Roger Brooke Taney House – a restored property in Frederick that once belonged to the former Frederick attorney and fifth chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court – hosts a one-day program, Frederick and the War of 1812, Aug. 16. James Bailey, a National Park Service ranger from Fort McHenry, will be a featured speaker. Call Jennifer Winter at the Historical Society of Frederick County, 301-663-7880, for information.
