Arts Council chair prefers ‘active listening’

E. Scott Johnson, a Baltimore attorney and the new chair of the Maryland
State Arts Council, describes himself as a music purist – he’d rather listen
to his favorite jazz artists with hi-fi equipment, rather than on a CD.
Johnson has a vinyl collection of 5,000 albums. RedOrbit packaged a
