Arts Council introduces Imagine Maryland plan, April 15

Officials will also outline upcoming projects for the Arts Council and how Imagine Maryland will be implemented. The Arts Council has a new logo, too, which will be revealed. The logo was designed to reflect the community-based approach that the Council adheres to in cultivating the arts industry in Maryland.
As a blueprint for progress by Maryland's official arts organization, Imagine Maryland offers a plan that has transparency, accountability and measurability. It is designed to advance the mission of the Arts Council: support the arts and artists, ensure access to the arts for all Marylanders and promote statewide awareness of the arts.
The recommendations of Imagine Maryland is based on the results of community participation across the state. Some 500 Marylanders participated in 22 statewide forums and focus groups.
