Bethesda A&E programs receive honors

Announcement of the award came at the eighth annual Metro DC Dance Award celebration, Sept. 8 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

And, the Bethesda Fine Arts Festival was among Sunshine Artist magazine’s 200 best shows in the magazine’s September issue. Listed at number 78, the Bethesda festival is the highest-ranked Maryland show. Sunshine Artists bills itself as the “nation’s leading publication for art and craft show exhibitors, promoters and patrons.”

The Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District also produces The Trawick Prize: Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards, the Bethesda Painting Awards, the Bethesda Art Walk, the Bethesda Artist Market, and Play In A Day.
