Award winners show work in new gallery show

Colvin spoke about Personal Vocabulary in a radio interview that aired the morning of the exhibit’s opening, Sept. 25. The show runs through Dec. 18. Hours are 10 to 4, Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays.

Anna Fine Foer, a collage artist and one of the Individual Artist Award recipients, is curator of the show. “This multifaceted exhibit centers on a message conveyed in a distinct, one of a kind, visual language; a personal vocabulary,” she said.

The featured artists are: Seth Adelsberger (Baltimore City), Tom Block (Montgomery County), Alyssa Dennis (Baltimore City), Melissa Dickerson (Baltimore City), Sue Johnson, (St. Mary’s County), W. C. Richardson (Prince George’s County), Chris Siron (Baltimore City), Nora Sturges (Baltimore City), and Jessica Van Brakle (Montgomery County).
