Rich Gilbert, senior sales manager for the Tourism Office, said that everyone
who attended the luncheon received a binder that included each partner’s
sales information and detailed listings of all the tour operators.
“With the
current economy and fuel issues, regional trips are going to be what I hang
my hat on,” said one of the operators, John Frankenburg, president
of The Tours Program, Inc., in Alexandria, Va.
